Do Avatars Bias Your Answers?

When the Asker's avatar looks angry or arrogant, does it change how you word your answer?

Do you %26quot;walk as if on eggshells%26quot;, or do you reply with the same attitude that you see in the avatar?

Do you avoid answering such an Asker's Question?

Would you consider changing your own avatar, if you thought others react badly to it?Do Avatars Bias Your Answers? People make decisions about others using the strangest criteria. How they look, their avatar, the way they phrase a question or answer, etc. It almost comes naturally, but that still doesn't make it right. Yet, when someone has the same mindset as you, then you know more or less where they're coming from on a given subject. Thus, if you know where they're coming from(what they are thinking) you are less likely to be irritated by what they say or do.

Take Jehovah's Witnesses for example. We all share the same line of thought as to scriptural matters, which sets the tone for all other issues or situations in our lives. This does not make us robots, or take away our free will to make decisions or comments based upon accurate knowledge of the subject under discussion. It allows for God given boundaries that causes us to be better people, more restrained, and sensitive to others feelings, as Jesus was.

Here, in Y/A, anonymity seems to sometimes breed hate, or at least disgust, for others because we're not talking face to face with 'real' people, just avatars and user-names.

Nope don t care. Its all the same to me. It does not matter what you look like or how you look in a picture if your an a**hole then your an a**hole.

Hmm, my avatar looks a little like I want to smile, or constipated. It does not reflect my questions or answers tho.
Typically 99 times out of 100 I don't even notice the avatar, since where I answer, they all look the same - either the blank default one or the cartooney Yahoo avatar. If you venture into the Polls %26amp; Surveys category though, you will almost undoubtably run into some funny ones, since that's where all the comedians roam.

I'll also maybe toss an insult out there if they're one of those annoying fangirls with a Tokio Hotel or Jonas Bros. avatar, since that makes them mainstream music tools in my opinion lol. Other than that, no reaction from me.
If its something really gross, or disgusting;

I keep my eyeballs Moving to the right!!...or, down!!

Nope.

Nope.

Nope.

If it offended in any way,

and I was asked about it

in a respectful, mature, manner....

I would Seriously Consider it.

And, then, most likely follow through, and change it;

if it were something that had Scriptural support,

Definitely, Would.

I had 'noticed' your art work....

your avatar there....

So! That's! What You Look Like!
