I'm doing a project in my english class dealing with social groups and cliques. It would be great if you guys and girls could help my out by answering these questions. Along with these questions, please include your first name, your age, and what city you live in(and your school, if you feel comfortable sharing).
1.What social group or groups do you think describes the group you belong to? Why do you feel that you are able to do this?High school social group survey?1. im in the group that everyone looks up to and wishes they were in. me and my friends are what most ppl call %26quot;abercrombie girls%26quot; because that is the brand we wear.
2. this group has always been this way and my friends and i made it together so we didnt accept eachother we started it together.
3. we have our own table at lunch that no1 sits at but us. every1 asks us when tryouts are for our group and we keep telling every1 that there isnt going to be tryouts. ever.
4. i like being in the %26quot;cool group%26quot; but i dont like when ppl think were stupid because we wear abercrombie because that isnt true at all.
5. i would never change my group. emo-no thnx goth- i hate black and love pink drama- not really my thing and i could only see myself where i am.
6. i am able to talk to every1 and i an extremely social with all of the groups. i dont care what group your in just as long as ur respectful to the other groups.High school social group survey?1. I honestly don't know where I belong to. I'm usually in a group that has no drama, don't hate %26quot;too much%26quot; on people, and we're really nice. So whatever group that is. I'll call it the interracial group or international group since we're all from different areas.

4. I feel great. To me I see ourselves as a good group, we do gossip a lot about the stoners and the preppy kids though hihi
5. If I would change it too, I would go to the preppy one I guess because well, I'm similar to them a little bit than other groups

I always end up in this situation;It's like i'm doomed this has happened for the past 3 school years
First day of school: Have 8+ people sitting at my table
A Few days later: Kids switch out and have different lunches,left with 4 (or less people less)
A few months after: the 4 or less people move,leaving me and 1 other person,sitting alone,looking like total nobodies.

Prolly the Preps,I just hate beign alone and being looked down upon but my parents refuse to buy me clothes so I'm stuck here.

i don't have a social group at all. i'm pretty cool with members of every clique. my three best friends are all in different cliques from one another, and we all get along great with each other. i guess it's our diversity that helps us just %26quot;click%26quot; so well.
2.Why did you choose this group? Why did it appeal to you?
i didn't really choose the group. i just talked to everyone who would talk back, lol. while i will admit that because i don't have a certain group, i feel sort of left out, or like i don't belong, but i like the fact that i can go hang around the %26quot;weird kids%26quot; and still have friendships with them; and i can go to the group of preppy/popular and still have friendships within their clique.

i wear, whatever i feel like wearing, that day. i don't ONLY wear one brand of clothing. the clothes i wear, are as diverse as the people i hang out with. i listen to literally every single genre of music except for lil wayne and soulja boy because i enjoy REAL rap music.

i'm not classified in a group :)
5.If you were to change your group, which group would you switch to and why?
i don't really feel the need to change. i like being able to identify with people of all different walks of life.

most people can't, just for the simple fact that the people who are in cliques, have been in that clique since preschool, and having someone new in the social group can get kind of awkward. but i suppose if the person wanted to bad enough, they could.Im in the Senior citizen group.
I aged into this group and we are wise.
I love Classic rock, motown, I wear whats appropriate for the occasion, my attitude is positive and I believe as a nation we are going to struggle but it will get you youngsters to open your eyes and stop taking life for granted.
I am glad I am in the Senior Citizens Group.
I would change into the deceased group cause I don't want to suffer any more.
I have always been able to move across social groups while continuing my education because I am older and wiser and I am not a threat to anyone, according to the way the youth think today.1.What social group or groups do you think describes the group you belong to? I'd say I'm a combo of Nerd, Goth, and Emo.
2.Why did you choose this group? I chose Emo: I tend 2 have depression problems %26amp; I write 2 express my EMOtions, etc. I chose Goth: B/c I of my spiritual beliefs I chose Nerd: B/c I love 2 learn Why did it appeal to you? Those r who I am, I would've chose Drama, but Drama classes haven't opened yet.
