Thought all the mommies would enjoy this!!!?

Changing Attitudes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Babies:

Your Clothes:

1st baby: You begin wearing maternity clothes as soon as your OB/GYN confirms your pregnancy.

2nd baby: You wear your regular clothes for as long as possible.

3rd baby: Your maternity clothes ARE your regular clothes.

Preparing for the Birth:

1st baby: You practice your breathing religiously.

2nd baby: You don't bother because you remember that last time, breathing didn't do a thing.

3rd baby: You ask for an epidural in your eighth month.

The Layette:

1st baby: You pre-wash newborn's clothes, color-coordinate them, and fold them neatly in the baby's little bureau.

2nd baby: You check to make sure that the clothes are clean %26amp; discard only the ones with the darkest stains.

3rd baby: Boys can wear pink, can't they?

Worries:

1st baby: At the first sign of distress--a whimper, a frown--you pick up the baby.

2nd baby: You pick the baby up when her wails threaten to wake your firstborn.

3rd baby: You teach your three-year-old how to rewind the mechanical swing.

Diapering:

1st baby: You change your baby's diapers every hour, whether they need it or not.

2nd baby: You change their diaper every two to three hours, if needed. 3rd baby: You try to change their diaper before others start to complain about the smell or you see it sagging to their knees.

Activities:

1st baby: You take your infant to Baby Gymnastics, Baby Swing, and Baby Story Hour.

2nd baby: You take your infant to Baby Gymnastics.

3rd baby: You take your infant to the supermarket and the dry cleaner.

Going Out:

1st baby: The first time you leave your baby with a sitter, you call home five times.

2nd baby: Just before you walk out the door, you remember to leave a number where you can be reached.

3rd baby: You leave instructions for the sitter to call only if she sees blood.

At Home:

1st baby: You spend a good bit of every day just gazing at the baby. 2nd baby: You spend a bit of everyday watching to be sure your older child isn't squeezing, poking, or hitting the baby.

3rd baby: You spend a little bit of every day hiding from the children.

Pacifier:

1st baby: If the pacifier falls on the floor, you put it away until you can go home and wash and boil it.

2nd baby: When the pacifier falls on the floor, you squirt it off with some juice from the bottle.

3rd baby: You wipe it off on your shirt and pop it back in.

Swallowing Coins:

1st child: when first child swallows a coin, you rush the child to the hospital and demand x-rays.

2nd child: when second child swallows a coin, you carefully watch for the coin to pass.

3rd child: when third child swallows a coin you deduct it from his allowance!!

I guess I better ask a question.....I'm pregnant with my first....is this how it really is by your third??? lol!!!

Thought all the mommies would enjoy this!!!?Lmao omg I am laughing so hard I can barely type. I have a 12 yr old, a 22 month old, and a 10 month old, and while it's not quite that bad it's close. Your attitude about certain things does change and you relax a lot by number 3. This was hysterical thank you I am currently hiding from the kids lol. Just kidding great post though.
Thought all the mommies would enjoy this!!!?
lol i havent made it to a third yet but most of it sounds about right!
Thought all the mommies would enjoy this!!!?
I was certainly laughing at it and I only have 2!! It's VERY true!! :)
This is too cute!! It is true for most moms!!
LOL I would say you do change a lil but some are not right. LOL you do relax more but this is so funny thank you for posting it all moms should read it to lauh.
Lol...I love it! I only have two, but that sounds about right!
that was so cute and funny i enjoyed it. it was great congrats on your new baby
Lol! That is soo true(well about the 1st and second children)I laughed so hard cause most of it is right on! I love the hiding from the children part! LMAO!!! Thanks!
I only have two but as far as the second goes, its pretty much true! lol. I loved this. Thank you for sharing. Good luck with your pregnancy and your baby!
Honestly???? Id have it all the same but in the order of 1st Month..... 2nd Month and the rest of the time after 2nd month................... I started off being like what it says for first child, i then slowly became like 2nd child with my firstborn and sometimes but obviously not all of them i have become like third child.......... and im on my firstborn!!!

In other words you start of incredibly by the book and fussy... when you realise your baby has just survived childbirth and that they arent made of paper and china you will relax and become more laid back like the description for 2nd born and some times you become a little fed up and a little tired (VERY TIRED) you become slightly like the third born.
that's cute. It's mostly accurate. The first born you are so careful and attentive to the baby, but then the second one comes and you realize %26quot;oh its not that big of a deal%26quot;

One thing you should know, it may seem like it, but babies are not as fragile as you may think and you do not need to do everything by the book.
that is too funny i have two and most are right on lol
Like this!!!
lol that was cute.

im only up to 1 baby..

i believe that it may be like that
That's exactly it! lmao
That's awesome! I only have one so far, but I'm one of four! The fourth got dragged around by one of us older ones in a laundry basket!
You've really made my day.

That is me to a tea

Heres an added segment. People say that the flash of a camera damages babies eyes...my response is if that was true

1st child would be close to blind (we take photos almost every hour around the clock on every angle)

2nd child should need classes (we take a photo at milestones)

3rd child will have 20/20 vision (what's a camera?)
Too cute!!! thats why i'm only having ONE!!
That is so funny. I have a 10 year old, 4 year old and 6 week old. Some of them are true, which makes me sad. LOL Thanks for sharing.
this is soooo awesome. i have 2 kids, yeah its so true!
That was cute.
I liked it and I'm only pregnant with my first! Good one.
Every word of this is true! LOL
I love %26quot;Your maternity clothes ARE your regular clothes%26quot;, so freakin funny!!

And I wish %26quot;You ask for an epidural in your eighth month%26quot; was an option!!!

Good Luck!
lol
Oh yeah ... this soooooooo true :-) .... LOL
