Where did this outlook of "you live this way and do this or that and then go to heaven when you die"...?

I read the bible and listened to my own conscious and have returned to God by the reconciliation provided through the simpleness of accepting Christ which gave me rebirth to the real life and death to the limited and eventual dead physical nature and physical world and universe. I have already entered the Kingdom and the passing of this life to the next is a bit unimportant since I have already died with Christ. How do people miss this fundamental point and get stuck on all these other acts of behavior and whats right and wrong. Once in the Kingdom your outlook changes and you see this and change your attitude and the resulting choices and behaviors to match what is towards what is truly right....people seem to be stopping and not progressing beyond the obviousWhere did this outlook of %26quot;you live this way and do this or that and then go to heaven when you die%26quot;...?This outlook came from Jesus mouth.

Matthew 5:17-19

鈥淒o not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill. 鈥淔or truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished. 鈥淲hoever then annuls one of the least of these commandments, and teaches others to do the same, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever keeps and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
Where did this outlook of %26quot;you live this way and do this or that and then go to heaven when you die%26quot;...?

Where did this outlook of %26quot;you live this way and do this or that and then go to heaven when you die%26quot;...?
It has always been about control.

I'm happy for you that you did not get caught up in the nonsense.

Love and blessings Don
Well aslong as you're living how you should, you've got nothing to worry about, have you?
it's what Christ did not what we did.works will never get anyone to heaven.God bless
Will all people go to heaven?

(1 Corinthians 6:9-11) 9聽What! Do YOU not know that unrighteous persons will not inherit God鈥檚 kingdom? Do not be misled. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men kept for unnatural purposes, nor men who lie with men, 10聽nor thieves, nor greedy persons, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit God鈥檚 kingdom. 11聽And yet that is what some of YOU were. But YOU have been washed clean, but YOU have been sanctified, but YOU have been declared righteous in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and with the spirit of our God.

(Matthew 7:13-14) 13聽鈥淕o in through the narrow gate; because broad and spacious is the road leading off into destruction, and many are the ones going in through it; 14聽whereas narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading off into life, and few are the ones finding it.

(Matthew 7:21-23) 21聽鈥淣ot everyone saying to me, 鈥楲ord, Lord,鈥?will enter into the kingdom of the heavens, but the one doing the will of my Father who is in the heavens will. 22聽Many will say to me in that day, 鈥楲ord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and expel demons in your name, and perform many powerful works in your name?鈥?23聽And yet then I will confess to them: I never knew YOU! Get away from me, YOU workers of lawlessness.
In 1 pet 2 :2 (crave pure spiritual milk) This is missed by many.

Look at this: when a child is born they feed of their mothers milk, with that comes nurishment, and a bond that cannot be broken, they feel secure in her arms.

People miss that bond, they overlook the feeling of security that comes with being held or comforted. This is the relationship between you and God Through the Holy Spirit.

this is ez to miss. Good lookin out though. keep spreading the good news brother.

Jesus and the disciples did teach that we should live righteously. But clearly you are correct to say the order is the new birth first, followed by heartfelt turning to the ways of God. Christians are not those who rely on the law to make themselves acceptable to God, but those to whom God has given hearts to love the goodness of God, and to walk in those good works He has pre-ordained for us:

Ephesians 2:8-10 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Notice the order. Grace first, followed inevitably by works.
